This section gathers the collaborations I build with communities, not just about them. Through participatory design, deep listening, and co-created art— from Sensoria workshops in Boston to community art fieldwork in Puerto Rico —I work with partners, families, and youth to turn everyday stories into shared multisensory experiences that support resilience, belonging, and educational justice.

Sensoria

Sensoria is a multisensory community art space I founded in Boston/Cambridge - a warm, low-pressure place for creative play and deep listening. Through workshops that weave movement, images, and sound, we practice simple ways to be understood - and to understand others - one small, confident step at a time.

As part of Raquel Jimenez’s Arts and Cultural Organizing Intensive at HGSE, I joined local artists and fourth–sixth graders at Escuela Hernández y Gaetán to co-create a mural built from children’s written “dreams” for themselves, their school, and their community — transforming a school wall into a collective vision of the future.

Puerto Rico Field Study Zine
Instructor: Raquel Jimenez

This zine grew out of my field study in Puerto Rico, where I spent time listening, walking, and learning with local communities. Instead of writing an academic report, I wanted to create something more intimate — a small book that holds memories, sketches, and reflections about how people, place, history, and everyday life are intertwined.

For me, this zine is a way to honor the communities who welcomed us, and to ask: how can I show up not as a “visitor,” but as someone who is willing to listen, to be changed, and to keep building community through art and storytelling?
